Where is it Made?

It's made in the USA.

This means all of it's components are made here in the US and that no imported materials are used in making the pillow. Also their mattresses are made in the USA.

What's in it?

It is made with a solid Latex Core, and on top of it goes a Purple Grid Hex which is made from their proprietary and patented elastic gel like material. On top of that goes a Breathable Mesh cover.

How much is in it? Weight?

The Standard Size 20x26 inch pillow weights about 6 pounds, which is a lot for a latex pillow, but since latex is heavier than memory foam and it also has the "Gel Grid" that's on top of it, it's easily explainable why it is that heavy. Heavy is not bad when it comes to pillows, keep that in mind :)

Cover Materials?

Purple doesn't say much about the cover material, because you guessed it right, it's not that special. It's made from polyester fibers.

And then of course they try to upsell you extra pillowcases to use when you buy your pillow. But everyone does that, so again, not necessarily a bad thing.

Is it Adjustable?

Since the pillow has a solid core, it is not adjustable. That's a big downside, as this is a huge factor in making a pillow work for "everyone". Everyone's body is different and everyone's neck curvature is different as well, so you would have to give the pillow a try to see if it really works for YOU and YOUR needs.

Purple offers 3 different heights though, to make up for the non-adjustability of the pillow.

Price Range

Depending on where you buy your Purple Harmony pillow and which size and height you choose, the pricing starts from from a hefty 179.00 USD which is a LOT for a pillow. Some mattresses sell for 250 USD to put this into perspective.

We say MAYBE

As fancy and "cool" this pillow may sounds, it may be too good to be true. A high price tag does not always mean you get the best product. Purple has been spending millions upon millions on dollars into marketing over the last couple of years, so it is natural that their price tag is higher than most other pillows out there, because at the end YOU THE CONSUMER, pays for all the costs a company has in marketing their products to YOU THE CONSUMER.
