Where is it Made?

The Pillow we received for testing, was made in China.

Now that's not necessarily a bad thing. 99% of things we buy come from China these days.

What's in it?

It's filled with Down Alternative Fiber(that's supposed to be "cooling"). We saw no gel beads or other gel related material in the pillow that would make it more cooling though.

They also offer a Memory Foam filled version, for those who prefer the foam feeling.

How much does it weight?

Weight is about 4lbs for the Queen size. They offer a King size too, but we did not test the King Size for this review.

What Cover Materials are being used?

The cover of the Beckham Collection Pillow is made of 100% Cotton. It's made of OEKO-TEX Certified Fabric so you can rest assured the pillow is toxin free. Now oftentimes these certifcations only go for the cover material so we can't talk to the filling material being OEKO-TEX as well :(

Can the pillow be adjusted?

The pillow has no zipper, so adjusting is a no no unfortunately. The Company claims the the pillow is made with a "no shift design" which prevents the pillow from getting flat over time or during the course of a night. Unfortunately we could not confirm that.

We tested the beckham pillow we had to fold it in half to achieve the proper height for our main pillow test chief Michael, as he has super broad shoulders.

Where can you buy it?

Despite the Company being an Amazon Brand, the pillows are also available at Target, Walmart and other online retailers. You'll probably get the best deal on Amazon though.

We say MAYBE

The Pillow is well constructed and has raving reviews on Amazon, but from our perspective, there are better alternatives out there. Down Alternative Fiber filling is nothing new and also nothing special. So if you want to save some bucks but get the same sleeping experience than on the Beckham Pillow, simply google for an "Down Alternative Pillow". No need to pay a premium for the Beckham "Brand" name. And no, the pillow is not related to David Beckham ;-)
